Uniting Mindfulness and Photography in a Transformative Journey
“The camera is an instrument that teaches people how to see without a camera.”
Discover the synergy between mindfulness and photography through our engaging classes, workshops and retreats for all skill levels. Embrace the present moment and simply come as you are to experience the transformative power of combining mindfulness with the art of photography. Immerse yourself in this journey, where each click of the camera becomes a mindful exploration.
Participants learn to embrace the art of photography not merely as a technical skill but as a profound means of capturing emotions, stories, and the beauty of life itself.
Whether you’re a novice seeking to explore photography or an experienced artist looking to infuse mindfulness into your practice, the Center for Mindfulness Photography promises to enrich your perspective and foster a lasting appreciation for both art and mindfulness.
Below is a selection of our offerings that describes them in more detail.

ONE-to-ONE SESSIONS
Whether you’re a novice seeking to capture life’s beauty or a seasoned photographer looking to rekindle your passion, our One-to-One Mindfulness Photography Sessions will empower you to see the world with fresh eyes, fostering a sense of mindfulness that extends far beyond the lens.
Or, if you’d prefer to set the camera aside…
One-to-One Mindfulness Meditation Sessions (without the photography element) could be what you’re looking for. It can be challenging to know where to start with a meditation practice and how to stay with it. Private sessions can support you in establishing (or re-establishing) a personalized mindfulness & meditation practice or refresh an existing one.
Wherever you are on your journey, you’ll learn simple methods to bring the practical skills cultivated in meditation with you as you go about your life; in relationships, work, creativity, rest, walking the dog or savoring a delicious meal.

CLASSES & WORKSHOPS
Our carefully crafted programs invite participants of all levels to delve into the captivating realm of mindfulness photography. Through expert guidance and hands-on experiences, you will learn to capture the essence of each moment, infusing your images with presence and meaning.
Join a 2-hour Mindfulness Photography Walk to get a taste of what it’s like to blend mindfulness practices with photography.
Set aside an afternoon for a relaxing and restorative Half-day Workshop or go deeper with a Daylong Workshop.
Our Weekend Workshops allow for an even more immersive experience that includes informal sharing of photos.
Take it to a new level with Weekly Classes that provide consistent support over an extended period of time. You will integrate mindfulness and photography practices into your day-to-day life while also bringing your attention to essential elements in the art of photography. This format gives plenty of time for sharing of photos, from a mindfulness-based approach, rather than a typical critique.
