ONE-to-ONE SESSIONS

Whether you’re a novice seeking to capture life’s beauty or a seasoned photographer looking to rekindle your passion, our One-to-One Mindfulness Photography Sessions will empower you to see the world with fresh eyes, fostering a sense of mindfulness that extends far beyond the lens.

We’re also here to help with One-to-One Mindfulness Meditation Sessions if you’d like to develop a mindfulness meditation practice without the photography. It can be challenging to know where to start and how to stay with it. These private sessions can support you in establishing (or re-establishing) a personalized  mindfulness & meditation practice and can renew or enhance an existing one.

Wherever you are on your journey, you’ll learn simple methods to bring the practical skills cultivated in meditation with you as you go about your life; in relationships, work, creativity, sleep, walking the dog or savoring that morning cup of coffee.

 

CLASSES & WORKSHOPS

Our carefully curated programs invite participants of all levels to delve into the captivating realm of mindfulness photography. Through expert guidance and hands-on experiences, you will learn to capture the essence of each moment, infusing your images with presence and meaning.

Get a taste of what it’s like to blend mindfulness practices with photography when you join a Mindfulness Photography Walk or set aside an afternoon for a relaxing half-day workshop. Daylong and weekend workshops allow for more immersive experiences.

In weekly classes, you’ll have the chance to consistently integrate mindfulness and photography practices into your day-to-day life while exploring essential elements in the art of photography.

DESTINATION RETREATS

Teacher AMY THOMPSON AVISHAI

Amy brings to her teaching over two decades of experience as a photographer, educator and mindfulness practitioner. A Fulbright fellow, she has taught at Massachusetts College of Art and Design, Griffin Museum of Photography and other institutions.
